What age should a child be responsible for packing their own back pack?
I have to lay my sons clothes out for him. Pack his back pack. Tell him to get dressed, tell him to put his coat on. If I didn’t tell him to tie his shoes he wouldn’t, he just doesn’t care. What age should a child be doing things like this for himself?
Every child is different – try having him start one thing at a time. And make him do it every day then add more things for him to day maybe every week.
