My Bouganvilla has no leaves???
I have a 2 fairly young bouganvilla that I have planted in bonsai pots. They were both in bloom when I bought them but both lost their flowers a few weeks after I got them. They both grew just fine after that for a while and got lots of new green leaves. One of them bloomed again and got beautiful flowers, but now all the other green leaves have fallen off leaving only the pseudo leaves most people think are the flowers. The other plant however seems to have stalled in its growth and has not bloomed or grown any new leaves in a while. I live in Hawaii so I dont think climate is the problem. Maybe plant location? I did try fertilizing both of them with a fertilizer made specifically for that kind of plant. Can anyone give any suggestions?
I looked it up, and like you said fertilizer is needed and not to over water, which is how most of us kill our plants.
