18 hp Briggs & Stratton carb problem?
Everytime I go to start my lawn mower it floods out immediatley. Carb has been rebuilt, needle and seat seems to hold, but with the air cleaner off I can see gas squirt up out of the carb. After that, if I pull both plugs out and crank it and reinstall them it will usually start. After being ran for 30 minutes or more, if I shut it off, it won’t restart until it is completely cooled down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
mine does the same thing every year,i have to remove the carburetor ,and really soak it real good in cleaner,and then it works good all year,its done this for the past three years strait,other than that it does real good,it might still have dirt caught in some part of it causing this to happen,i added an in line filter to mine ,hoping maybe this year i wont have the same problem with it,good luck on it.
