Fuel problem on a Briggs & Stratton Intek engine?
This mower will start up after I prime it and run for a couple seconds before it quits. I can start it over and over as long as I prime it but it won’t stay running.
There is no fuel filter and it’s a gravity fuel feed. I already drained the gas and put in fresh gas.
Do I need to replace the carburetor or is there likely some adjustment that can be made?
There is a vacuum hose that’s cracked, could this be the source of the problem?
sounds like the carburetor needs cleaned.unless it’s really old it should not need a new carburetor.try to run a very small wire like a needle out of a steel brush,in all the holes on the carburetor and spray some carburetor cleaner in all the holes.hope this helps.
