is there a good way to clean cartridge filters for a wal mart easy set up pool?
I have a 15 x 4 foot pool that i got at wal mart and i have to keep replacing the filter like every other day. has anyone got a good way of cleaning them so you can reuse them so I dont have to keep buying new ones ( I understand that you are to replace them every 2 weeks, but every other day is getting to be to much.)
You actually don’t have to replace them that often either. We do 2 things with ours:
1. Take the garden hose with sprayer nozzle and spray debris out of them, put them back in the filter.
2. Once a week we put them in the washer with some bleach and wash on the shortest cycle.
I have had my pool (same as you have) set up since the beginning of May and have not had to replace the filter yet. Pump still works great also!
