will front wheel drive wheels fit on my rear wheel drive truck?
i have a 93 chevy s10 rwd and i gotta chance to get some 20 inch weld evo wheels for dirt cheap, but theyre for a front wheel drive but the came off a jaguar xr7 and that all wheel drive, the bolt pattern is the same on the s10 and the xr7, and these wheels dont look like normal fwd wheel they have a lip on them so i dunno
(ok i know it will match up as far as the hub and bolt pattern but you people dont know sh*t so far the ones that answered, if the wheel sits too far in, in the front i wont be able to turn thats the difference between fwd and rwd, the offset…wow i just answered my own question better than anyone else has
If the bolt pattern and the offset are the same, then yeah you can use them.
The offset of a wheel is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel.
If the offset of the wheel is not correct for the car, the handling can be adversely affected.
