What happens if some water gets into the gas tank. Forgot to replace the fuel tank cap during automated wash.?
You can get a bottle of stuff referred to as “dry gas” at auto stores, I’ve even seen it at dollar and hardware stores. It’s supposed to attach to the water molecules and evaporate them. It’s a solution to old/bad gasoline. Fairly inexpensive to the alternative to siphoning out tank . . (hopefully got it all?) Mechanic will probably tell you to drain tank (not very hard to do!) flush and refill. Helped?
