In a dream I see him
A huge smile on his face
As I reach out to touch him
He recoils from his place
I ask him what it wrong
He just turns his back on me
And suddenly is gone
To the black rolling sea
I chase after his figure
Trying to reach
But he is too swift for me
As he moves down the beach
Why is he running?
I am trying to comprehend
Why he is scared?
I only want to let him in
Suddenly I see him
Flawless above the ocean
His eyes bright and grim
pointing down in one swift motion
Why is face twisted in pain?
Why is he moving away?
Am i even Sane?
Why can’t he stay?
I look up to the heavens
And what do I see?
I see a chorus of angles
Singing down to me
Then I recognize the face
So perfect in the glow
It is the face of a garden angel
Who has come to bring me home.
