The Dell 5310n Laser Toner Helps You Go Green
If you’re going to be using the Dell 5310n laser printer, you’ll soon find yourself pleasantly surprised. Essentially for use in networks no larger than 10 computers in size, it’s a printer marked by endurance and ruggedness, when it’s used in a home-based business application. What’s really nice is that it can be bought for well under 900 dollars, list, so worries about taking a big hit in the bank account should be relieved. The Dell 5310n Compatible Toner that comes with the unit is also an added benefit, when you consider its print output capacity. For all-around small network use, this unit makes a sound case for its deployment.
Does it Print Fast? The Dell 5310n can fire off 50ppm of print output, which should be sufficient for almost any application. Networks of the size this unit is designed to handle usually don’t require super-high speeds, for the most part. This printer also warms up quickly from start up, taking no more than 60 seconds to be ready to print. If it’s already warm, expect to take no more than 10 seconds.
Installing Ease. Most IT folks will enjoy how easy the Dell 5310n is to integrate into a network. Using the enclosed CD for guidance, just download applicable drivers and coordinate installation through the network’s service, and that’s about it. With USB and Ethernet ports standard, it’s pretty simple to hook it to most servers or networks.
Integration. Typical of most Dell products, the 5310n is fairly simple to integrate with just about any Windows operating system, including Vista, XP and others. It also is compatible with Mac OS and NT, Linux and UNIX servers and platforms.
How Many Pages? The Dell 5310n will usually go up to 250,000 pages in a typical cycle before requiring upkeep. The Dell 5310n laser toner cartridge that’s installed in the printer will last for about 10,000 pages before needing replacement. Considering this unit will service a small network, chances are that both parameters will be acceptable. If you want even more output ability, there are optional 20,000 page cartridges on the market.
How Much Paper? The standard tray holds about 500 sheets. If you need to, you can add additional trays, bringing the total storage capacity to 2,500. This helps to make the 47 pound Dell 5310n easy to deploy, maintain, and use.
Remember This. Dell 5310n laser toners are widely available, both from Dell and from several vendors. If you want to spend a bit more money, you can go with a 20,000 page cartridge, though the standard capacity is probably enough for most small networks that’ll be using this printer. Additionally, produced printed page quality is pretty good.
