Japanese decorating ideas for my room?
Im redoing my room in and artsy / japanese style. I like drawing and art and im into the whole japanese culture so i wanted to mix both and do my room something like that.
Does anyone have any cheap or easy to make Japanese and artistic artsy decorating ideas?
We just painted my room blue “deepest aqua” and need it to at least kind of match it.
Ive already got the idea of Paper Lanterns, Wall Fans, Noren Curtains, and Japanese Letters to stick on my wall.
So any easy to more or cheap japanese decorating ideas?
I have a japanese room!!
I have one red theme wall and the rest are white.. It doesn’t really matter what colour, as long as you stick to the theme.. Maybe paint your furniture black.. Keep your room very clear – no clutter.. Japanese are minimalistic.. Maybe have a rice-paper room divider?? You can pick those up for relatively cheap.. I also have bamboo in my room in a black floor pot filled with black pebbles!! I also kept some fake (very realistic looking) cherry blossoms in a vase filled with black pebbles, which I kept on a red mat on my bedside table.. I know if you want a japanese themed bedroom you should keep it ZEN, and not have non-living plants, but I couldn’t help myself – it was so cool!! You could also paint some japanese characters on your wall or on canvas squares which you could maybe hang on your wall in a column like: http://ny-image0.etsy.com/il_fullxfull.83557440.jpg but in a column, rather than a row.. Keep it very MINIMALISTIC!! Not too much stuff – and not too crowded!! Just pick a FEW ideas..
