lawn mower air filter oil leaking?
i was cutting crass and i heard my blade just keep hitting something to i lifted it up.. right side in air left side on ground. and i find a string warped around the wire so i pulled that out and when i put it back down oil was coming out of the air filter. so i took air filter cleaned the oil out and smother it in gas but the mower still wont start.
what can i try on my own before i pay someone
i just unpluged ther spark plug. took the filter back out and took the case and ran out under warm/hot water and used dawn foam action soap on it a few times.
lawn mower been sitting already 15 mins so in 30 mins air filter should be dry or so
so when it drys and place it back in and hope for the best? what if that don’t work any other things i could try?

only little amount oil came out i had it turn over for about 10 secs. side of the engine had little more then few drops and half of the filter was covered. so add oil shouldn’t be a biggy
what happen when u turned irt up was all the oil run the that one side and all u need to do is let it sit for about 30 min. and when u start it it will smoke like hell becuase it is flooded with gas that u put on the air fiter. from now on lift from front to rear.
