Can I still get parts for this mower?
I’m wanted a lawn mower/garden tractor to turn into a racing one. First, I would like to know if i can turn this tractor into a racer. It is a ’74 gilson H-16. 16 HP briggs. Hydro. I’m sure i can cause all I really have to do is replace the motor and tranny pullys. Second, can i still get parts for this mower?
Because turning it into a racer is a custom job you can turn just about any mower into a racer. The question is how much work is it, how much will it cost and is the end product worth it. Only you know the condition of the mower so it would be impossible for anyone on this site to answer those questions.
For your question about stock parts, I would seriously doubt that anyone carries parts for a mower that old.
