Do LED plant lights work?
I live in NY and the winter is killing my plants that I leave inside.. So Im thinking of getting a light to put above my plants.. I have only 3 plants they not huge or anything but i need to know what will be best for them to stay alive all year round.
I was going to get a regular light system but saw online that LED’s work but other sites say LEDs don’t work. I need something under 75$ anything.. but dont know really what im buying.. please helpp and tell me what you would do if you had my budget. I need it to be smaller the 28 inches long

I just bought two spot LEDs last week and have them on my onion and lettuce plants and they seem to be working well. I paid $35 per unit on amazon for this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001NDRGNC. these lights so far are good and half the price of similar units. they fit in regular light socket. I put mine into some heat lamp sockets i have for chicken brooding and they are working.
I wish I could tell you more but i am just getting into LED lighting myself after years and years of using florescent lights
