Do all Kelvin temps work with a light system on a car?
I have to replace my headlights because they died. I dont know whether they are 4300k, 6000k, 8000k, etc. If i choose 8000k but i had a 6000k before will it work? as long as my kit is 35w and the bulb is also 35w will all kelvin temp bulbs work?
In this context, degrees Kelvin relates to colour temperature not absolute sensible or latent heat. Low colour temp is red and high is white; intermediate is blue.
The colour temp has no impact on current or wattage. It does have an impact on your local laws and whether you have glass or polycarbonate headlight lenses. Polycarbonate lenses will be burnt by the UV emanating from high colour temp globes and high cut UV globes must be used.
