McCulloch Chain Saw won’t Restart?
My 14in saw runs fine but won’t restart for an hour or more if it stalls. Once it starts its fine til I shut it off again then it won’t restart.
What you are describing sounds like the ignition coil is failing. When the engine shuts down the cooling quits also and the engine and parts actually heat up some. It is common for coils to fail when they get hot. Next time it won’t start, check for spark. If you don’t have spark I would suspect the coil. If you do, obviously it is something else, most likely fuel.
