Brand new battery on riding mower and need to give it a jump start everytime and blades not working?Help plz?
I have an MTD White Outdoor LT-2200. I bought a brand new battery few weeks ago. Every time I want to start the mower it doesn’t start if I don’t give it a jump start.Also I need to keep the jump start for quite long time to get the blades working. After I disconnect the jump cables I am able to cut the grass for like 5 min and the blades stop working even though the mower is working. What should be causing that? Is there a part that probably is not charging enough that I can buy and replace? I thought that the battery might be causing this problem but even when I replaced it the mower and the blades do not start. Thanks!!!
Either the mower has a battery problem, or a charging problem (alternator) why it needs a charge everytime.
And with the blades not working, there is mechanical problem, or something jambing them.
