how do you oil rub bronze?
i want to learn how on ACTUAL bronze. if its only to paint on a finish i don’t want to hear it because i know that a faked effect is possible.
Oil rubbed bronze is created by heating the bronze and applying oil to the surface – the heat breaks some of the oil down and atoms of carbon are taken into the surface. It is then rubbed for further effects. Can be done with other metals. Not easy to find on internet in brief attempt
