what are its advantages over the other type of piston pin?
one is better than the other, the one without the caged rollers requires less oiling and is stronger , the `gudgeon pin type will never break into little pieces and ruin the bore liner itself , wheras the caged roller can. hope this helps , 10 points , vote as best answer please to unknown question….
