If you are encountering issues with any backyard pond water fountain water pump, it could be one of the common concerns. Because repairing these fixtures could be fairly expensive, it’s best to try to fix the problem on your own. By using the guidelines below, you must be able to determine the origin of the concern and hopefully restore your fountain ponds pump to proper working order.
For safety and maneuverability reasons, remove your pond pump from the water before examining it. Make sure you never pick up the pump by its power cord. Although you may not be able to tell, this can cause significant damage to the wiring and can result in problems down the road. Instead, pick the pump up by its handles, and if you need extra support, use a rope for leverage.
