Rear tine tiller during the season?
I have always used a mid or front tine tiller. Thinking about buying a rear tine tiller. I have always removed tines from my tiller as the plants grew, so I could go between the rows. How do you do this with a rear tine tiller? Do you tie up all the plants? Do you need more than one tiller?
I have never had a problem using my rear-tine between the rows. I plant the rows 24″ apart and I have an 18″ tiller; this allows cultivating without getting into the root zone.
