Need help finding a replacement spindle motor for a Sony DVD player.?
I need a replacement spindle motor for a Sony DVD player, model number DVP-CX995V. Motor part number is RF-320CH-12400. Need exact replacement or a known substitute motor. Does anybody have any ideas? (Sony does not sell this motor). I have already tried MCM, Newark, Jameco, Mouser, and Digi-Key. Any help would be appreciated.
Usually, the entire mechanical drive is replaced as a unit. But replacing the DVD player makes more sense.
