I see a TV commercial about the Riddex Plus electronic device. This device is supposed to emit an electronic pulse throughout the house electrical wires at a specific frequency to rid my house of mice and roaches.

Most people agree that the device is not worth purchasing or relying on in any way, shape, or form. While this technology would be very valuable if it worked properly, it isn’t because it doesn’t. Better methods of ridding yourself of these unwanted pests include using borax, diatomaceous earth, scent lures and traps as well as chemical pesticides, birth control hormones and biological predators.
The PDF from the US Federal Trade Commission talks about their allegations against the company for making false promises including that their product is effective.
