What do you think of these names for characters in a story?
These are just first names, but opinions on each name would be nice.
Calyx
Ivy
Cyan
Atlas
Sage
Scarlet
Orion
Calyx- I wouldn’t keep this one if I were you, easily pronounceable names are easier to read over and over again. If you do keep the name, maybe a nickname like Caly?
Ivy- I like Ivy, the name always reminds me of a sadistic little girl though, so if Ivy is a sweetheart it might not be the best name.
Cyan- That’s fine, its not my favorite word (or color), but it’ll work!
Atlas-I like the name Atlas, but be careful that it isn’t too cliched. Atlas being a cartographers? That’s a little too obvious.
Sage- I like it!
Scarlet- I also like this name.
Orion- Like the stars? I’m not in love with this name, its a little odd to say, maybe a nickname?

A note on all the names in general, I’m seeing a lot of colors, that might look a little strange in the same story.
