how do you sharppen a chain saw chain?
This depends on the size of the chain 7/16th or 7/32. if your doing it your self, get a guide or you”ll file away and accomplish nothing. guessing your a novice at this bring it to a saw shop they’ll let you know if the chain is worth sharpening or if you need a new one. They may also coach you on sharpening techniqe. like anything this takes lots of practice to get good at. It does not cost much for the shop to grind it and it does nothing to reduce the life of your chain, a good sharp chain will increase the life of you saw and make your job easier. Be safe have fun.

Chains $4.95 Chains is a challenging puzzle game with a unique feel and distinctive vector graphics style. The object of the game is simple – to link adjacent bubbles of the same color into chains. Alice in Chains: Music Bank – The Videos - $9.99 Though Alice in Chains has been on hold since the latter part of the ’90s due to drug relapses and band arguments, these grunge founders have managed to stay on people’s minds. Since riding in on the wave that Kurt Cobain and Nirvana made with the introduction of grunge, Alice in Chains has amassed a following that is at times baffling. Having only produced three full length albums, it hardly seems necessary for the band to have a boxed set released, but apparently the public wanted something new from Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell. Not having any new material to offer, it seems the folks at Columbia Music and Video put their heads together and decided to let Alice in Chains ride another wave, the box set wave. Video Bank is meant to accompany the audio release of Music Bank. While Music Bank is a compilation of most of the songs already released by Alice in Chains in alternate mixes and demo versions, Video Bank is a collection of all the band’s videos and a short ten minute compilation of home video shot by the band. Though many people may not be impressed with a three CD set of songs they already own, they just may be impressed by the videos contained on Video Bank. This compilation includes the videos for Man in a Box, Heaven Beside You, and Them Bones, all of which saw heavy rotation on MTV. It also includes hidden gems like two separate video versions of The Rooster and We Die Young, as well as lesser seen videos for hits such as Angry Chair and Down in a Hole. If you are an Alice in Chains fan and are looking for something fresh from the band, then Video Bank is a worthy investment. ~ Ed Atkinson, Rovi |

The Chains of Heaven: An Ethiopian Romance $6.99 Philip Marsden returns to the remote, fiercely beautiful landscape that has exercised a powerful mythic appeal over him since his first encounter with it over twenty years ago. "Ethiopia bred in me the conviction that if there is a wider purpose to our life, it is to understand the world, to seek out its diversity, to celebrate its heroes and its wonders – in short, to witness it." When Philip Marsden first went to Ethiopia in 1982, it changed the direction of his life. What he saw of its stunning antiquity, its raw Christianity, its extremes of brutality and grace prompted his curiosity, and made him a writer. But Ethiopia at that time was torn apart by civil war. The north, the ancient heartland of the country, was closed off. Twenty years later, Marsden returned. The result is this book – the account of a journey deferred. Walking hundreds of miles through a landscape of cavernous gorges, tabletop mountains and semi-desert, Marsden encounters monks and hermits, rebels and farmers. And he creates an unforgettable picture of one of the most remote regions left on earth. As in his award-winning book "The Spirit-Wrestlers", Marsden reminds us of the brilliant heights that travel writing can attain, whilst celebrating the ageless rewards of the open road and the people for whom the mythic and the everyday are inextricably joined. |
