How do i convert a 12 inch stihl cut off saw into a 14?
I’m getting a rebuilt stihl ts400 for 200 bucks. I know this model comes in both 12 and 14, the one I’m getting is a 12. I’m curious if all i have to do to convert this to a 14 is to just change the guard so it fits a larger diameter blade??
Thanks Todd, much appreciated, yep, i’ll just go on ebay or craigslist and find a junk one or parts, now that i know all i have to do is replace the guard, i figure it wont cost me more then 40 bucks to find one. something to keep in thememory banks to keep an eye out for. thanks again.
