Wall Foam Insulation on Existing walls?
I’m considering insulating my 1000sq ft brick style ranch home(shack) built in 1968 with wall foam insulation for noise reduction. I’m about 70ft away from a very busy 4 lane road. We just had an extra layer added to the attic & i can’t believe what a difference it made on reducing outside noise!
What price range am i looking at to have a company come in?
This would be wall foam not the ‘blown-in’ loose insulation.
Ten thousand in some places, half that in others?
Why not just blow in insulation into your walls. It can be done by DIY’rs and is not too expensive, maybe $800.00?
I have done two retro jobs and it is easy with one helper.
