I happen to come across an old (possible a porch or wall-mount lantern) that looks have been made around the mid-1800′s to early 20th century. Any information on it I would be appreciated.

I do not collect this type of lantern but it appears to be one that would have been found mounted next to a door on the outside of the house, because of the fact that there is no glass on one side.
